How to play Sexy Baccarat, step by step
Sexy Baccarat comes down to six steps: pick a table, pick a chip, place your bet and watch the deal. The only things you really need to understand are how hands are counted and the third-card rule, and the dealer applies those for you.
- Open the Sexy live casino channel, choose a baccarat table and pick a chip within the table limits before the countdown ends.
- Bet on Player, Banker or Tie. You are predicting which hand ends closer to 9; optional Pair bets win if the first two cards of that hand are a pair.
- Card values: aces count 1, 2 to 9 count face value, 10 and picture cards count 0, and only the last digit of a total counts (7 + 6 = 13 scores 3).
- A two-card total of 8 or 9 is a natural and ends the round. Otherwise Player draws a third card on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7.
- Banker then follows fixed drawing rules: always draws on 0 to 2, stands on 7, and on 3 to 6 draws depending on Player's third card (for example, Banker draws on 6 only if Player's third card was a 6 or 7).
- Payouts: Player pays 1 to 1; Banker pays 1 to 1 minus a 5% commission on the win (some tables use a no-commission variant); Tie usually pays 8 to 1, and Player and Banker bets are returned on a tie.
Quick tip: Banker has the lowest house edge of the main bets; Tie pays well but has a much higher house edge.
Bets and key rules in Sexy Baccarat
Sexy Baccarat has three main bets, a Pair side bet and two rules that decide most rounds: a natural 8 or 9 ends the round at once, and Banker's third-card draw depends on Player's third card.
Player / Banker / Tie
Player pays 1 to 1; Banker pays 1 to 1 minus a 5% commission on the win; Tie usually pays 8 to 1.
Pair
A side bet that wins when the first two cards of the chosen hand are a pair.
Naturals
If either hand totals 8 or 9 with its first two cards, the round ends with no draws.
Third-card rule
Player draws on 0–5; Banker always draws on 0–2, stands on 7, and on 3–6 draws depending on Player's third card.
Who is Sexy Baccarat for? Pros and cons
Sexy Baccarat suits players who want a live game with no decisions after the bet and like a real dealer running fast rounds. It is not for players who want to use skill during a hand, because every draw follows fixed rules.
Pros
- Few rules: the only decision is which side to back.
- Among the main bets, Banker has the lowest house edge, even after the 5% commission.
- You watch a real dealer deal the cards on a live stream.
Cons
- Tie pays well but carries a much higher house edge than the main bets.
- Rounds are fast, so without a budget your total stake climbs quickly.
- You must watch the countdown; miss it and you wait for the next round.
Common misconceptions about Sexy Baccarat
The most common baccarat misconception is that the roads or scoreboard predict the next hand. The board only records past results, and neither side's drawing rules change because of what came before.
“A long Banker streak on the board means the next hand will be Banker too”
The facts: The scoreboard records past results only. Nothing in the rules of baccarat makes the next hand follow a pattern on the board.
“Banker pays commission, so Player is the better bet”
The facts: Even with the 5% commission on Banker wins, Banker has the lowest house edge of the main bets, because the third-card rules make Banker win slightly more often.
“On a Tie, your Player or Banker bet is lost”
The facts: Under standard rules, Player and Banker bets are returned when the hand is a Tie. Check each table's rules panel for details.
