How to play Fortune Gems, step by step
Fortune Gems is one of the simplest games in these guides: choose a bet, spin, and check two things, the gems on the 5 paylines and the value where the multiplier reel stops. Every line win on that spin is multiplied by it.
- Log in to Playme8, open the slots lobby, choose the JILI channel and pick Fortune Gems.
- Choose your bet; all 5 paylines are played on every spin.
- Spin. Three matching gem symbols on a payline pay according to the paytable; the Garuda wild substitutes for other symbols.
- The extra reel on the right shows a multiplier when it stops; any line win on that spin is multiplied by it.
- Filling the whole grid with the Garuda symbol pays a full-screen prize; JILI lists the game's maximum win as 375x the bet.
Quick tip: With a 375x cap, Fortune Gems suits players who prefer steady, smaller results over chasing huge wins.
How the Fortune Gems features work
Fortune Gems has one special mechanic, the multiplier reel on the right, plus a Garuda wild and a full-screen prize when Garudas fill the grid. JILI's game page lists the multiplier as its only special feature.
Multiplier reel
A separate reel on the right shows a multiplier when it stops; every line win on that spin is multiplied by it.
Garuda wild
The golden Garuda substitutes for the gem symbols, helping to complete a line that is one symbol short.
Full-screen prize
When Garudas fill the whole grid, the game pays its full-screen prize; JILI puts the game's maximum win at 375x.
Who is Fortune Gems for? Pros and cons
Fortune Gems suits players who like simple, classic-cabinet slots and prefer steady results to chasing large ones, since JILI caps the game at 375x. It is not for players who want feature rounds or cascading wins.
Pros
- Very few rules: paylines and a multiplier reel.
- The provider publishes both volatility and maximum win, so you know the ceiling before you play.
- Every spin has one extra moment of suspense on the multiplier reel.
Cons
- The 375x ceiling is far lower than high-multiplier slots such as the Pragmatic Play games.
- The multiplier reel is the only special feature; there are no extra spin rounds.
- JILI's game page does not list an RTP.
Common misconceptions about Fortune Gems
Common misconceptions about Fortune Gems are that the multiplier reel pays even without a line win, and that a big multiplier can push a win past 375x. The multiplier only applies to line wins, and 375x is the maximum win JILI lists.
“A high multiplier on the right reel means a guaranteed payout”
The facts: The multiplier multiplies that spin's line wins. With no winning line, the result is still zero.
“A good multiplier can take you past 375x”
The facts: JILI lists the maximum win of Fortune Gems as 375x the bet. That is the ceiling of the game.
“You can switch off some lines to spend less”
The facts: Every spin plays all 5 paylines. The only thing you adjust is the bet.
